Alternatives
Alternatives is an independent non-profit making organisation based at
St.James Church, Piccadilly. It is dedicated to the exploration of diverse
ways of living and being. Inspirational talks take place each Monday evening.
Arts Network International
Founded by Trish Bain in 1994. The company specialises
in the development and production of projects and programmes that promote
inter-cultural awareness, dialogue and exchange through the arts.
Lawrence Ball
Lawrence is a composer and musician whose music
helps people to enter into sensitively relaxed states of being. He is founded/director
of the Planet Tree Music Festival held in London. Lawrence has collaborated
with Linda in performances and workshops.
Dominic DeCicco
Dominic is a musician, singer, songwriter with the most uplifting voice. He
plays guitar, flute and drums. He is co-founder of Praying For the Rain. He
has collaborated with Linda in many of her performances and workshops.
Vince DeCicco
Vince is a musician,
singer, songwriter who plays the accordian in his unique way. He is co-founder
of Praying For the Rain. He has collaborated with Linda in many of her performances
and workshops.
Dogways
Julia Evans is a behaviourist, dog trainer and lecturer who incorporates TTouch
in many aspects of her work. Through years of experience Julia has created
a unique way of working with animals.
Gallery Gondwana
Roslyn Premont Lali founded this gallery of fine
art specialising in Australian Aboriginal and Pacfic arts in Alice Springs
in 1991. She has recently opened Sydney Gallery Gondwana.
Carolyn Hillyer
Carolyn is a unique
artist-writer-musician-singer-drum maker who lives on Dartmoor. She has collaborated
with Linda in many of her performances and workshops.
Sheila Klein
Sheila creates the most beautiful ethereal paintings
on wood. The photograph of one of Sheila's painting Balinese dancers is within
Spiralling Home Turtle Dancing on page 65 of the book.
The Lotus Foundation
Founded by artist Genie Lee-Portensky, the Foundation is dedicated to exploring
the relationship between the arts (visual, aural, literary) and spirituality.
There are also regular meditation groups.
Mind Body Spirit Festival
This festival is held every May in London. Linda has performed at various
festivals since 1990.
Jeanna Nash
Jeanna is an accomplished photographer and has taken many wonderful photographs
during her travels all over the world. She has also photographed Linda on
several occasions.
Michael Ormiston
Michael is an inventive multi-talented performer & leading exponent of
Mongolian Koomii overtone singing and playing of Mongolian musical instruments.
He has collaborated with Linda in many of her performances and workshops.
Quest Designs
Carole Williams has had many years experience of working as a graphic designer
and PR and marketing consultant specialising in the field of mind body spirit.
She brings to Quest Designs not only her skills in these areas but offers
a tailor made service to her clients.
Eddy Sayer
Eddy is a multi-talented musician specialising in playing gongs and gamelan.
He gives performances and individual gong-bath/upliftment sessions. He has
collaborated with Linda in many of her performances and workshops
Will Shaman
Will desiged the book and this website, but principally considers himself
a musician: he is a member of The Watts and writer/lyricist for musical theatre,
including the acclaimed Roll Over Jehovah, with choreography by Wayne
Sleep.
Nigel Shaw
Nigel is a special musician-composer-sculptor-flute
maker who lives on Dartmoor. He has collaborated with Linda in many of her
performances and workshops.
Candice Temple
Candice is a freelance picture editor, journalist and organiser of exhibitions.
She founded the magazine New Times.
Candida Valentino
Candida is an artist, musician and
massage therapist, a practiioner of Tibetan singing bowls, voicework and sound
healing.
Festival of Pacific Arts
Over 2,000 people come together from over 25 Pacific countries for a festival
of dance, story and crafts. The festival is held every four years in a different
Pacific country.
Inspirational Arts Festsival
This arts festival held in London annually exists to raise awareness of
the relationship between the Arts as a Creative Force and Inner Life.
Women in Publishing
Women in Publishing works to promote the status of women working in publishing and related trades by helping them to develop their careers.
